原创Field Trips Collection 户外探究学习合集 | 放眼更广阔的世界

ISA Tianhe provided students with various outdoor learning and field trips this semester. Our purpose is to offer opportunities to students that explore the unknown and expose them to learning experiences that cannot be duplicated inside the classroom. These activities allow them to develop critical thinking and solve real-world problems. According to ISA Vision Statement, Inquire·Succeed·Act provides a balanced education system to students, which helps students to become holistic citizens of the world.

在爱莎天河,我们为学生提供了许多丰富的户外学习和实地考察的机会,旨在为学生提供更多探索未知事物的机会,同时让学生接触到在校园内无法获得的学习经验和社会技能。通过户外探究活动培养学生发展批判性思维和解决问题的能力。秉承爱莎的办学愿景——“探究·成就·践行”,学校为学生提供了均衡发展的教育体系,帮助学生成为全面发展的世界公民。

February 二月

EY3 studied “How We Express Ourselves”, they learned stories about other cultures around the world. As they were exploring, students collectively were inquiring about food and culture in Italy, therefore on February 15th, students and teachers went to an Italian restaurant for making pizza. Students had better understand the unit through hands-on experience.

幼儿园中班在学习“我们如何表达自己”的探究单元时,探究了世界各地的文化故事,并且研究了文化是如何影响饮食文化的。因此,2月15日,学校组织中班的学生和老师一同前往意大利餐厅制作披萨,学生们通过实践和户外探究活动加深了他们对探究主题的理解。

March 三月

On March 8th, the school organized the Y4 and some Y5 students to participate in a research course at an aviation training base. The students were able to deepen their insights and opinions about aviation through in-depth aviation-themed visits, project experiences, curriculum learning and communication, while learning about various aviation knowledge and intuitively appreciating the mysteries of airplanes in a variety of experiences.

3月8日,学校带领四年级和部分五年级的学生前往航空培训基地参加研学课程。学生通过深度的航空主题参观、项目体验、课程学习和交流,加深了自己他们对航空的认识和见解,同时在多元体验中了解到各种航空知识,以及直观地领略飞机的奥秘。

As part of UOI, “Sharing the Planet”, students and teachers went to Chimelong Bird Park with some parents’ volunteers. Students observed and learned about different animals and habitats when they visited birds parks.

作为探究单元——"共享地球"的一部分,幼儿园大班的孩子及部分家长志愿者们前往飞鸟乐园参观。学生在参观不同的鸟类园区时,他们直观地观察了和学习不同动物及其栖息地。

As Year 2 students studied an UOI about plant growth, students and teachers went to South China Botanical Garden to observe more plant species and habitats.

二年级学生在学习物生长的探究单元时,老师带领学生前往华南国家植物公园观察到了更多植物种类和生存环境。

Y5 students and teachers got the chance to celebrate the end of the PYP Exhibition by spending some bowling time together. The students were so well behaved and had a wonderful time on the trip.

五年级的学生和老师在完成小学毕业成果展后前往了广州保龄球馆。在游戏中,学生和老师增进团队交流和互动,度过了一段快乐的保龄球时光。

April 四月

EY2 were learning UOI diverse careers, and students discussed their career path, so students and teachers went to visit Haxinsha Fire Station.

幼儿园中班在学习不同职业的探究单元时,学生了解到了许多不同的职业,讨论了未来的职业道路。为了让学生对不同职业有更深刻的理解,学校组织EY2的学生参观海心沙消防局。

Y3 had a very interesting time at the Energy Conversion Centre looking at clean energy sources Guangzhou uses. The staff there were very impressed with how well we understood the topic as well as the pros and cons of each energy source.

三年级学生通过参观能源研究所,了解到广州现在所使用的清洁能源供应体系。研究所的工作人员详细地和学生讲解每种能源的优缺点,加深了学生对能源的理解。

During the Book Week, students went to Guangzhou Library “Reading Month Programme” to enrich their experience. The Guangzhou Library has a collection of over 8.43 million books. Children were able to marvel at the wide range of books available in the library and find meaning and enjoyment in reading. The staff patiently explained the categories of literature to the children and showed them around the library"s reading room, exhibition and showroom.

在读书周期间,学生前往广州图书馆读书月活动,丰富了他们的阅读体验。学生们在藏本超过843万册(件)的广州图书馆内,接触到了不同类别的书籍和文献,参观了阅览室、展览厅、陈列室等。

May 五月

EY4 and Y1 went to Greenland separately according to their current UOI study. They saw a lot of animals, crops, and did some outdoor exercising.

幼儿园大班和一年级学生基于探究单元学习分别前往了绿色农场。他们见到许多动物、农作物、户外练习。

PYPX 小学毕业成果展

During the research of PYPX, the school provided rich resources and strong support for Y5 students’ PYPX. Students had Field Trips on different topics, such as first-hand experiences, expert interviews, surveys, artifacts, investigations and observation activities. The diverse activities helped students develop a deeper understanding of the topic of inquiry.

作为小学毕业成果展的探究,学校为五年级学生提供丰富的探究活动资源和支持,开展不同主题的户外探究活动,如直观地体验、专家访谈、数据调查、手工制作、观察活动等。通过多元的活动,学生对探究的主题有了更深刻的理解。

Field Trips brought unique and interesting learning experiences to students. The experience helped students develop collaborating skills, provided students opportunities to explore new environments, interact with the community, make connections, solve problems, and develop trust and empathy. Otherwise, field trips turned book knowledge into touchable and visible objects, giving students a more visual understanding of what they were learning and hands-on experience. We are looking for more field trips next semester!

户外探究学习给予学生独特且有趣的学习体验,帮助学生提高与朋友、同学、老师的合作能力,探索新的环境,与社会交接,解决问题等。同时,户外探究学习把书本的知识变成可触摸、可看到的实物,让学生对所学的知识有了更直观的了解。我们期待下学期将提供更多户外探究学习的机会给学生!
